Safari Memories

Based on a wealth of knowledge and years of experience in the hospitality industry, Memories of Africa aims to provide a platform from which our guests can see their dream safari become a reality. Having partnered with a variety of luxury safari lodges across South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia, we pride ourselves on creating bespoke safari memories.

All of our safaris are completely tailor made to your travel preferences, and the use of our private aircraft affords you unrivalled flexibility when planning your trip. Find below, some of our sample Safari Memories.

Sabi Sands Safari

Disconnect from the outside world, and become immersed in one of Africa’s greatest wildlife offerings. An extended stay at one of our preferred lodges within the Sabi Sands affords guests the opportunity to drink in the comforts of five star accommodation, whilst enjoying the thrill of being on safari.

This experience is a must for wildlife photography enthusiasts, where years of strict conservation practices have created one of the most intimate game viewing environments across the globe. No matter how many nights you spend in this part of the world, you will always want more, such is the habit of the Sabi Sands in producing memorable moments each day.

Okavango Delta

Experience the magic of the Okavango Delta. After a two hour flight from Johannesburg we will land in Maun, the airport hub to many of Botswana’s world renowned lodges. A short flight from here will see you arrive in the Delta. Undoubtedly one of Africa’s most fascinating safari destinations, this vast savanna transforms into a lush oasis of shallow river systems during the seasonal floods, supporting a massive concentration of wildlife.

Guided water safaris are a sought after experience where you can navigate through elephants, hippos and crocodiles in your dugout canoe (Mokoro). The dry land safaris, conducted in typical open game viewing vehicles, are famous for providing unique sightings of lion, leopard, large herds of buffalo, wild dogs and some of the marsh dwelling antelope like lechwe and sitatunga. This part of Africa will captivate your soul, and is a must for anyone looking for an unforgettable African memory.

Botswana & Zimbabwe

With so many incredible safari destinations to choose from within Botswana and Zimbabwe, it's not surprising that travellers to Southern Africa often split their time between multiple lodges.

Explore popular destinations like the Delta or Chobe in Botswana, as well as Mana Pools or Hwange in Zimbabwe - all reachable from the comfort of our private aircraft.

Looking to put your feet up and relax at the end of your safari? What better place to do so than perched on the banks of the Zambezi River, just a stones throw away from Victoria Falls. One of the seven natural wonders of the world, Victoria falls provides the perfect finale for any Southern African safari.

Namibia

Join us as we explore the breathtaking landscapes of Namibia. Marvel at the rolling dunes of Sossusvlei & Deadvlei, track the desert elephants of Damaraland, and experience the completely unique safari destination that is Etosha.

Add in some supplementary destinations such as Spitzkoppen, Caprivi or Swakopmund - and your possibilities for a wilderness & culture rich itinerary are endless. Namibia truly is a wondrous country, and is a must visit for adventure seekers, safari goers or photographic enthusiasts.
